Is Maxi-Cosi CabrioFIx an ISOFIX?

Are all ISOFIX bases compatible?
Are all ISOfix bases the same? The ISOfix bases look similar in style but are all different. They all have the ISOfix points to attach to the car’s ISOfix anchorage points. Bases and car seats need to be compatible with each other so this is where bases differ.
Can I use Maxi Cosi RodiFix without IsoFix?
The RodiFix is very easy to install using IsoFix – if you don’t have IsoFix then you can use the same seat but it’s held into place with the car’s seatbelt only. The car seat’s seat is wide and spacious and easy for your child to get into.
Are all Maxi-Cosi Isofix bases the same?
No, not every Maxi-Cosi ISOFIX base fits every Maxi-Cosi car seat. There are different ISOFIX bases for different car seats, however there are some Maxi-Cosi ISOFIX bases that fit more car seats than others, such as the FamilyFix2 and FamilyFix3, which fit several Maxi-Cosi car seats.

Independent tests show that Isofix mounted seats are extremely safe. Rather than relying on a belt, the car seat is fixed directly to the child seat base. That means there’s less movement in the seat in the event of an accident, particularly a side on impact. The real advantage to Isofix is that it’s so simple to fit.
Can you get ISOFIX fitted to your car?
Isofix seats will not fit in every car with Isofix points. As with any child car seat, follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Isofix cars have Isofix slots hidden behind the rear seats, in the joint between the back of the seat and the seat cushion. Push the connectors into the Isofix slots in the car seat.
