Is DBSK and TVXQ the same group?
Whether they’re known to you by the moniker TVXQ or DBSK, there’s no question that as a K-Pop fan, you’re at least familiar with the impact this group has left on K-Pop as a whole. TVXQ came to fruition under SM Entertainment in 2003 with five members, Yunho, Changmin, Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun.
What happened to DBSK members?
After a year-long hiatus, TVXQ returned as a duo with remaining members Yunho and Changmin. They released TVXQ’s fifth Korean album Keep Your Head Down (2011), topping album charts in most major Asian markets upon release.
Why did DBSK disband?
Changmin and Yunho said that they felt pride in portraying Korean culture and felt that they themselves were representing South Korea. Then the subject was on DBSK breaking apart. First, on July 31st, 2009 three DBSK members began their lawsuit to leave DBSK.
