ScotRail’s Off-Peak tickets are valid for travel any time at the weekend, on weekday off-peak trains between 09:15 – 16:40, and after 18:15 Monday to Friday. Plan your journey online to check off-peak departure and return times on the day and route you’re travelling.
What times are super off-peak?
Super Off-Peak travel times are normally between around 10:00 to 15:30 and from 19:15 onwards Monday to Friday. You can also travel Super Off-Peak during weekends and bank holidays.
When can I use my super off-peak train ticket?
Super Off-Peak Return tickets are valid for outward travel on the date shown on the ticket and until 04:29 the following day. If you cannot complete your journey on the same day you will be allowed to finish it the following day – see ‘Break of journey’ below.

Can I use my Trainline ticket on an earlier train?
If you wish to depart earlier or later, you can exchange your ticket or cancel it and re-book it, depending on the fare conditions. Once you have done this, you can then choose a new departure time for your ticket. If you have a Normal fare, then you can use your ticket at any time.
When do ScotRail Super Off peak tickets go on sale?
For Super Off-Peak Day Return travel times are 11:00 until 14:59, and after 20:00. Children under age five travel for free on all ScotRail services. Half price tickets for children aged 5 to 15. Kids for a Quid tickets aren’t available with Super Off-Peak Day Single tickets.
Where can I get super off peak ticket in Glasgow?
Super Off-Peak Day Single tickets are available for travel to/from Glasgow Queen Street and Haymarket/Edinburgh Waverley only. This offer isn’t available to/from intermediate stations (Croy, Falkirk High, Polmont, Linlithgow, etc.). Super Off-Peak Day Returns tickets aren’t available on Smartcard.
