How many cloth diapers do I need?
Having 2-3 days’ worth of diapers is a good starting point. That total will vary on your baby’s age, your laundry habits, and the types of cloth diapers you use, but we recommend a minimum of 36 for newborns, 24 for infants, and 20 for toddlers.
How do you clean a Thirsties duo wrap?
Before use: Wash once with a cloth diaper safe detergent. -Hang dry or dry in the dryer on low. Important notes: Use enough water to soak and cover the diapering items and allow them to agitate.
Are microfiber or bamboo inserts better?
When layering different materials, try to put microfiber on top as it absorbs liquids the quickest, and bamboo or hemp on the bottom as they hold the most liquid. Overnight diapers will usually require multiple inserts/doublers to hold an entire night’s pee.
What do you do with the poop on cloth diapers?

How often should you wash Thirsties one size pocket diaper?
Before Use: Thirsties Natural One Size Pocket needs to be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of the natural oils. This is done separately from your other diapering products for the first 3 washes. Our hemp-cotton products will be fully primed and at their maximum absorbency after 8 wash cycles.
